Terms of Use
By downloading or using Traduco (“the app”), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Traduco is developed by Javlonbek Elamonov (“we”, “us”).
1. Description of Service
Traduco is a keyboard extension that translates text between languages using AI. The app provides machine translations that may not be perfectly accurate. Traduco is not a substitute for professional translation services.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Traduco only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Use the service to translate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or other technical restrictions.
Use automated tools to access the translation service beyond normal app usage.
3. Free Tier, Subscriptions & Payments
Traduco offers a free tier with a daily translation limit and a premium subscription (Traduco Pro) with all tones and a much higher daily limit. Premium usage is subject to a fair-use limit that prevents abuse and sharing of one subscription across many devices. Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and managed by your Apple ID.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.
On the free tier, a translation inserted with the Traduco keyboard includes a short “Translated by Traduco” note. Premium translations do not include it.
4. Free Trial
Some subscription plans may include a free trial, as shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and is limited to one per Apple ID. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and you are charged the price shown at purchase. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged and the app returns to the free tier when the trial ends.
5. Translation Accuracy
Translations are generated by AI and may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any translation. You are responsible for reviewing translations before using them in any important context, including but not limited to legal, medical, or official documents.
6. Intellectual Property
The app, its design, code, and branding are the property of Javlonbek Elamonov. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. The translations you generate are yours to use freely.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep Traduco available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Traduco. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Traduco if you violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
10. Apple App Store Terms
These terms are between you and Javlonbek Elamonov, not Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Traduco shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of California, United States. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
